Expand description

What became of a claim.

Variants§

§

Settled

Claimed at maturity and settled, carrying the payment it produced.

Fields

§payment: Payment
§

Submitted

Claimed ahead of maturity and submitted. The transfer settles asynchronously, so no payment is returned yet: watch for it via events or list_payments.

§

Deferred

Nothing was claimed yet, and no further call is needed: any fee ceiling this one asked for stands on the deposit, and the SDK keeps claiming it on its own. An early claim is attempted again as the deposit gains confirmations, so one declined for being too shallow is often claimed early a block or two later. Failing that, the deposit is claimed at maturity.

An ordinary outcome rather than a failure. reason says which of the two to expect: a depth that has not arrived yet, or a cost the ceiling will not cover.
